MassNetComms Technical Scholarship Program
The Mass Network Communications Council created the Technical Scholarship Fund in 1998. The goal of the fund is to recognize and reward students who demonstrate scholastic aptitude, leadership skills and technical achievements, and to encourage them in their pursuit of a technical degree from a Massachusetts university, college or technical school. With the scholarship, the MassNetComms is looking to entice recipients to remain in the Bay State after graduation.Qualifications to be a Scholarship Recipient Include:
- Be a Massachusetts high school senior or previous MassNetComms Scholarship recipient
- Exhibit an aptitude for math, science, or technology
- Be active in technical curricular and extra-curricular activities
- Plan to attend, or currently attend* a Massachusetts college, university, or technical school
- Study computer science or technology
