Part-Time Summer Teaching
Boston University Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math/Science programs are currently accepting applications for part-time summer teaching positions in the following areas: English (literature &writing), math (algebra through calculus), science (physics, biology, anatomy, chemistry), and elective courses (Latin, computer science, SAT preparation, MCAS preparation, and Life Skills).Elective classes meet twice a week for one hour. All other classes meet four times a week for one hour. Summer program instruction dates are June 25 – July 28. Salary is $22 per hour plus some prep-time. Instructors are also required to attend a weekly one hour staff meeting and two hour study hall. In-person interview and satisfactory CORI check is required of all applicants. Deadline is March 31.
