Geek Squad Summer Academy, July 7-9 in Dorchester

WHAT: Geek Squad Summer Academy is a 3-day event where students participate in fun interactive classes and activities led by Geek Squad agents. Classes include computer hardware, networking, digital music and media workshops. The Boston Public Schools' TechBoston department will once again host this fun-filled technology program for Boston middle and high school students.

WHO CAN ATTEND? Summer Academy is open to Boston students in grades 6th through 12th grade. This includes students currently in the 5th grade.

Each Summer Academy is uniquely designed and customized for the community in which it is held. Geek Squad and Best Buy work closely with local organizations to ensure a memorable experience for participants. Through this innovative summer experience your student will know more about technology in your home, will develop long-lasting friendships and be better prepared for the ever-changing technological world in which we live. REGISTER NOW! - Registration to Summer Academy 2010 costs $20. A student kit and snacks will be provided for all participants. We only have space for up to 200 students (100 boys and 100 girls), so act fast. Registration deadline: June 14, 2010
